Admissions to School
The school has a Nursery and Reception classes.
The Nursery includes a 52 place unit with 26 places in each morning and afternoon session. We offer flexible session choice, and extra sessions when space allows. A charge is made for lunchtime cover and any extra sessions above and beyond those covered by Government funding. Admission forms and further information are available from the school office.
Our Reception children join the school in the September after they are four. Admission to Reception is co-ordinated by the Local Authority. Parents can register an interest at the school prior to applications being open. This means that the parent will receive information from the school when admissions for primary school open. Applications should be made online and need to be submitted by 15th January 2017. For more information, please visit www.calderdale.gov.uk/admissions
Admissions to other age ranges are open until we reach a maximum of 45 pupils in each year group when a request for admission would need to be completed with the Local Authority.
We have an open admission policy and do not discriminate against any pupil. Our disability access to school is excellent but we review this each year with new pupils in mind.
Any appeals for admissions need to be directed to the Local Authority Admissions Office, Northgate House, Northgate, Halifax.
