Brighouse High School
We have been a community partner of Brighouse High school’s for more than 12 years, in the early days working as a partner with SSAT (specialist schools and academies trust) funding to promote enterprise in schools. The partnership included working with three local primary schools; St Chad's CofE (VA) Primary School Hove Edge, St Andrew’s Junior School Brighouse and St John's C.E. Primary Academy Clifton.
Brighouse High School hosts an annual event at the end of summer term for year 6 pupils from the four primary feeder schools; this promotes an understanding of the four nations that make up the British Isles and acts as an excellent opportunity for pupils to develop friendships for year 7 and beyond.

Mr Geall – (Head of Technology) continues to promote the use of technology across the partner feeder schools using 2D CAD software to make Christmas decorations, key rings and Mother’s Day gifts combined with the use of the school's laser cutter. The projects are not only based on the use of technology but the experience pupils will gain from understanding design, production, sales and profit and loss.
